Incorporating the worldview of steampunk into watches, he created the "Lost Future" series, which makes the watch itself look like a machine that is about to start moving, and the "Wadokei" series, which is suitable for everyday use and Japanese clothing. Based on the concept of "tradition and novelty, a fusion of contradictory concepts", he produces a wide variety of handcrafted watches.

In 1997, JHA (Japan Handcraft-Watch Association) was established to support artists' activities such as learning watchmaking techniques and supplying parts.
