Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten was founded in 1716, the first year of Kyoho, in Nara Prefecture as a wholesaler of high-grade hemp fabric "Narazarashi." For over 300 years, successive family heads have continued to create products that cater to the lifestyles of each era.
