"SAIFUKU" is a brand that creates knit items inspired by the nature and lifestyle of Niigata, a snowy country, with the concept of "snow country knit". Taking the beauty of Niigata's nature as the origin of its design, the brand embodies the wisdom born from the harsh snowy region in its knitwear.

"SAIFUKU" is produced by SAIFUKU Co., Ltd., a knitwear manufacturer that has been engaged in manufacturing in Gosen City, Niigata Prefecture, since 1963. Gosen City is blessed with high-quality and abundant water, flourished as a silk weaving center from the mid-Edo period, and developed into a major hub for the knitwear industry after the war. The company uses its name as a brand, continuing to refine its knitwear manufacturing techniques and ideas, along with the know-how inherited in the region.

"mino", produced by SAIFUKU, is a series mainly featuring ponchos inspired by the "mino" (straw raincoat) used in winter in snowy regions. "mino" ponchos come in a rich variety, including those to be slipped on, those to be pulled over the head, those that can also be worn as scarves, and reversible ones. The materials used include wool, cotton, linen, and Japanese paper. By utilizing the unique characteristics of various material yarns, and through combinations, knitting methods, and patterns, one can feel the infinite appeal and potential of knitwear.
