| “GEN SENCE” is a brand that combines the tradition of hand-painted Kyo-Yuzen, which lives in Kyoto, with modern sensibility and technology. Fashion items such as T-shirts and hoodies are given a different personality with bold drawings and calligraphy, playful remakes and hand embroidery. “GEN SENCE” is created by Nao Aratani of Kyoto’s wet painting Yuzen studio “Ao”. The origin of the brand name is "GEN" and "SENCE".
