Koryo-cho in Nara Prefecture is known as the "town of socks," accounting for about 40% of the socks produced in Japan. In recent years, the proportion of socks imported from overseas has been increasing in the sock industry. Feeling a sense of crisis about this situation, volunteers from textile-related companies in Koryo-cho established the brand "ORGANIC GARDEN" in 1994.

As the brand name suggests, Organic Garden items use organic cotton (organically grown cotton) as their main material.

From Organic Garden comes a pair of low-gauge sandal socks that are soft and comfortable to wear, knitted from a blend of supple extra-long staple Supima organic cotton and yak yarn, which has excellent heat retention.

Because it has excellent heat retention, it is recommended to wear it in winter after a bath to prevent catching a cold, or to wear it while warming up in bed at night.

You can also use it as an additional item, such as layering it with socks.

This is a useful item throughout the year, whether it's during the change of seasons or to protect yourself from the cold caused by air conditioning in the summer.

Features of Yak Products Yaks are mammals that live in extremely cold areas, with temperatures as low as -40°C. Their fur has excellent heat retention properties and is comfortable to wear without getting stuffy.

The soft grey of Mok grey is a natural, uncolored colour.
The natural white color of the white yak is achieved by using the combed hair of rare white yaks, which make up less than a few percent of the total. It features a gentle, natural color that is different from pure white.

The cotton used in the blend is Supima cotton, the long-staple cotton that is the highest grade of cotton grown in the United States. It is very soft to the touch and is a combination of the finest materials.

-Washing instructions-
・The water temperature should be limited to 30℃, and the item can be washed in a washing machine on a very gentle cycle. (Hand washing is recommended. If using a washing machine, place the item in a laundry bag.)
・It is best to hang dry in the shade.
-Do not bleach, tumble dry, dry clean or iron.
