"Mino" is a poncho brand born in Gosen City, Niigata Prefecture, one of Japan's leading knitwear production areas, inspired by the "mino" (straw raincoat), a traditional winter garment worn in snowy regions.

"Mino" is made by Saifuku, a manufacturer that has been specialized in knitwear since 1963. Gosen City is blessed with abundant, high-quality water and has flourished as a silk textile production area since the mid-Edo period, and after the war developed into a major center for the knitwear industry. They continue to hone their knitwear techniques and ideas, along with the know-how that has been passed down in the production area.

"Nico" is a rectangular knitted poncho with two holes on either end for your hands to fit through. In addition to being worn as a poncho, it can also be worn around the neck as a stole.

The wool material is not itchy. It is slightly transparent and has a smooth, light feel.

Walnut buttons are round and shaped like nuts.
The buttons prevent them from slipping down, so you can ride a bicycle.

The length of the slit is about 16cm. The knit has a stretchy feel, so the loose sleeves are easy to put on.

It is thick enough that it doesn't take up much space even when folded and rolled up.

If pilling occurs, do not pull it out forcefully, but cut them off one by one with small scissors, being careful not to damage the knitted fabric, or use a pilling remover. If you try to remove them by hand, pilling may occur again soon after, or the texture may deteriorate.
