All of Shogado's Japanese stationery is produced domestically, using carefully hand-dyed Yuzen washi paper. The washi paper used as the material comes from Japanese paper-producing regions such as Echizen (Fukui Prefecture). Yuzen washi paper is brilliantly dyed by a Kyoto craftsman who has been involved with it since its founding in 1964, using multiple dye patterns and layering colors, giving it a texture, shine, and presence that cannot be expressed with regular printing. there is.

The hand-dyed Yuzen paper has a texture, shine, and depth that cannot be found in machine-printed paper. Also, since it uses pigments, it is resistant to fading.

The Yuzen paper is then rubbed and a natural Japanese paper reinforcing material is applied over it to improve its water resistance and abrasion resistance.
