Founded in 1953, Minamide Meriyasu is based on the Senshu spirit and technology of "being close to yarn and fabric and supporting people's lives," and handles clothes that are loved across generations, from material selection to design, cutting, knitting, sewing, and finishing, all done in its own factory.

The "NARU" in the brand name comes from the Chinese character "成" (naru). The word "成" has the meaning of "things naturally coming to fruition" and "creating connections."
