Mr. Masaaki Watanabe of Watanabe Koubou is a watchmaker who makes watches one by one by hand at his workshop in downtown Tokyo. We have worked on many watch works that are full of warmth and a tasteful expression unique to handmade.

Mr. Watanabe does everything by hand, from making watch parts such as cases, dials, and belts to assembling them.

Simple and easy-to-read large Roman numerals on the bezel. Since each piece is made by hand, the expression will be slightly different depending on the piece.

Watanabe Koubou has released “SUN & MOON”, a plate with the sun and moon drawn on it that changes over time!

This model features a cushion case with rounded corners and a soft impression. I am attracted to antique designs that are simple yet impressive.
The tips of the hour, minute, and second hands are fluorescent, so you can check the time even in dark places, making it not only stylish but also practical.


The size of the case is 38mm, which is a standard size. It is a size that is easy to incorporate for both men and women.

It is a SUN & MOON specification where the moon and the sun are replaced with time.

The sun rises during the day, and the crescent moon appears at night.

At exactly 12 o'clock in both the day and night, the sun and moon rise to their respective central positions.
When the sun or moon cannot be seen, the rays of light emitted from the stars and the sun create an atmosphere that changes from night to morning and from noon to night.
What time is it? …When you look at the watch, you can see how the watch changes its expression each time, and you can enjoy the leisurely flow of time together with the watch.

The belt material is made of cowhide with a good texture, and has a firm thickness.

The warranty period is one year from the date of purchase. However, only internal failures are covered by the warranty, and external parts such as cases and belts are not covered by the warranty.

It is not waterproof, so please be careful when working on rainy days or around water.
