garage, a gauze clothing workshop in Kyoto, started with the desire to create things, love clothes, and build things from scratch with their own hands. Husband and wife Tatsuya and Yoko Nakanishi handle everything from design, pattern making, sewing, and dyeing.

One of the characteristics of garage's clothing production is the use of double gauze fabric on the bias (diagonally). Usually, clothing fabric is generally used according to the warp and weft of the weave, but by using it on the bias, elasticity is created in both the vertical and horizontal directions.

In a simple design, ingenuity is put into making the most of the characteristics and texture of double gauze.
