AramaRoots is a silver accessory brand created by Kyoto-based artist Kokoro Kato. Since the establishment of his studio, he has created his products with the concept of "creating pieces that will become someone's treasures," imagining the smiles of his customers.

"Arama" means "my soul" in the indigenous Ainu language. Kato's work is imbued with the spiritual sensibility he developed while born in Izumo, the "Land of the Gods," and raised in Nishiyama, Kyoto, the land of the Bamboo Cutter legend. His work is also characterized by a wide range of styles, including sculptures based on natural motifs, pieces incorporating gimmicks, pieces featuring Kyo-Yuzen patterns, and pieces that combine different materials such as snake skin.

This "Wagara no Kyogin" series incorporates traditional techniques and sensibilities of Kyoto into silver accessories using unique techniques. Both "Gin-Twist", which features a Kyo-Kumihimo-like shape and the fantastic sparkle of stones, and "Yuzen-Utsushi", which incorporates the soft Japanese patterns of Kyo-Yuzen, are designs that can be worn by both men and women. "Yuzen Utsushi" is a series of silver accessories in which traditional Kyo Yuzen designs are printed onto them using a unique technique.
