"RE.ACT LEATHER WORKS" is a brand created by designer Mitsutoshi Nakayama. The brand does not have a specific theme, but instead offers a wide range of products with free and natural designs that can be enjoyed with different moods and situations, focusing on leather items such as leather wallets, leather accessories, and bags.

After working in planning and sales at an apparel brand, Mitsutoshi Nakayama went independent and launched "RE.ACT LEATHER WORKS." The brand name "RE.ACT" means "to react to stimuli," and was chosen because he wanted to reflect the stimuli he has received from travel, vintage items such as used clothing, and culture in his manufacturing.

"RE.ACT" leather items use carefully selected materials from Japan and overseas, such as "indigo-dyed leather" made by dyeing domestic full-tanned tanro leather (a type of leather that has been processed to make it easier to dye) with natural Yamato indigo. In addition, at a factory in Japan founded in 1974, the company makes use of the manufacturing methods, know-how, and craftsmanship spirit it has accumulated since its founding to produce leather items that can be used for a long time.
