SEED Artist, Fumiko Sugita Japanese pattern hand-painted T-shirt, hoodie, sweatshirt
The original brand “SEED” by Fumiko Sugita, an artist based in Kyoto. SEED means seed in English. "So that seeds can produce rich fruits... I want SEED to grow like that..." This brand is filled with such wonderful thoughts.
Fumiko Sugita studied Japanese painting from an early age until she went to art school, and now works independently as an artist in Katsura, Kyoto. In addition to the production of T-shirts and hoodies by hand-drawing, hand-dyeing, and stencil dyeing, he is developing a wide range of activities such as department store store displays and movie art.
Mr. Sugita's designs are unique, with a sense of "playfulness" added to them, while certainly inheriting the traditions and techniques of Japanese painting. Feel nostalgic and have a dignified atmosphere with the sensibility of "Wa".
