Garage, a gauze clothing workshop in Kyoto, started because of the owners' love for manufacturing, clothing, and creating things from scratch. Tatsuya and Yoko Nakanishi handle everything from design and pattern making to sewing and dyeing.
The gauze clothing from Garage, born from their desire to "do as much as possible with our own hands," gently and serenely comforts those who wear it.

This double gauze fabric T-shirt is so soft you'll want to keep touching it. We've added a hemp cord, designed to resemble a shoelace, as an accent!
It's not too simple, with a playful touch around the neckline.

The sleeves are 6/10 length, giving your arms a neat and flattering silhouette.

Double gauze is an excellent fabric that can be worn all year round due to its moderate breathability and heat retention. It has been used for baby clothes since ancient times and is one of the softest fabrics to the touch.

A characteristic of Garage's gauze clothing is that it uses double gauze fabric cut on the bias (diagonally).
While bias cutting is not efficient in terms of fabric usage, it creates excellent stretch in both vertical and horizontal directions, allowing the garment to gradually fit the wearer's body over time. It's sometimes referred to as "healing" clothing.

The dress design is slightly longer than knee-length or just knee-length at the front, and slightly longer at the back.
For lighter colors, transparency may be noticeable, so we recommend pairing it with leggings or slim-fit ankle-length pants.
