Introducing a new accessory series that uses mechanical watch movements!
You can see the delicate and intricate gears from both sides.
A simple pendant using an automatic watch movement.Available in silver and gold. |
There is a rotor on the back, and since it is not fixed, it moves around.
Both come in a gold-colored case and can be used as highly stylish pendant tops.
The beautiful and artistic expression of the movement on your chest...
Watanabe Studio has released a pendant that uses the movement of a mechanical wristwatch directly.
The movement is the heart of the watch, the central part that keeps time. Its movements are delicate yet precise, keeping time.
Since it is an automatic type, the "rotor" part on the back moves.
The part that acts as the pendulum, called the "balance," is not fixed, so the gears can spin freely.
This automatic movement features the "Côtes de Genève" decoration commonly seen on mechanical movements.
"Côtes de Genève" refers to the regularly-spaced diagonal grooves on the plate of a movement. It is a decoration that is said to resemble rippling waves, and is a traditional technique used on most mechanical movements.
This may also be the reason why women find mechanical watches attractive as jewelry.
There are 10 different pendant types to choose from. Chains and leather cords are available in 50cm and 60cm lengths. |
Casual leather strap type
You can also choose the color of the leather cord.
Both have a 5cm adjuster so they can be adjusted. You can also wear them longer to match a high neck.
The chain and leather cord are available in two lengths: 50cm (with 5cm internal adjuster) and 60cm (with 5cm internal adjuster). The leather cord is available in four colors: natural, brown, dark brown, and black.
The silver movement is fitted into a gold case, so it goes well with a gold-colored chain.
Silver and black leather cord for a cool look, or gold and gold-colored chain for a glamorous look. The impression changes depending on the combination.
Available in a size that is easy for men to use, this item will add a fresh touch to your everyday outfit.
A simple and stylish piece that you'll want to wear all the time. It can be used by men, women and people of all ages. |
It would also make a great gift for someone special.
A simple and sophisticated pendant that can be easily matched with a variety of outfits.
The roots of the hand-wound movement are said to lie in pocket watches from the 17th and 18th centuries. We now live in an age where we can check the time digitally, but why not take a peek inside the low-tech movements created by people in ancient times and get a sense of their history?
We also recommend couples or spouses to wear different colours as a pair.
Not only for yourself, but also as a gift for birthdays, anniversaries, celebrations, Valentine's Day, White Day, Christmas, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Respect for the Aged Day, or for watch lovers.
Hand-rolled versions are also available. |
