Leather workshop PARLEY produces simple yet striking leather products in their own workshop in Nerima, Tokyo, using carefully selected, high-quality leather materials and the artisanal techniques that bring out the texture of the material.

The leather materials used are from excellent Japanese tanners, such as Tochigi Leather, Japan's top manufacturer of full vegetable tanned leather, and Fujioka Yukichi Honten, which has a 120-year history of tanning deerskin.

The leather materials used are diverse, including saddle leather and tanned leather for horse tack, fine-grained and soft-to-the-touch deerskin, and Finnish elk leather with its unique elasticity.

"Parley Classic" is a series that exudes a simple and classic atmosphere, using extremely fine and soft cowhide leather.

The material used is called "kip" (medium cowhide), which is cowhide from cows between 6 months and 2 years old. It is a high-quality leather with a fine texture second only to calfskin (leather from calves less than 6 months old) and a moderate thickness.

The unique luster is achieved through a double dyeing process and careful hand polishing. First, the leather is dyed with a base color, then overdyed with black dye. By polishing it over time with a special wax, the base color emerges, resulting in an amazingly smooth, almost shiny gradation finish.

In addition, the more you use them, the more the base colors (royal blue, raspberry red, Georgia green) will appear, and you can enjoy the changes over time.

The outer cowhide leather will reveal its respective base color (royal blue, raspberry red, Georgia green) as it is used, allowing you to enjoy the changes that occur over time.

The inside is made of pigskin leather, which feels smooth like suede.

Up to 3 cards and 2 keys can be attached.

Leather is vulnerable to rain and sweat, so if it gets wet, please allow it to dry naturally. If you use it while it is wet, the color may fade or transfer. We recommend storing it in a well-ventilated place.

Please be aware that color transfer may occur if the product is placed in the pocket of light-colored pants, for example.
