Only natural materials can produce unique shapes. Plant dyeing artist Haruka Nomura dyes a wide variety of items in natural colors, from small wooden beads to sturdy, reliable bags.

Nomura began making products using plant dyes after meeting Masaaki Aoki of Hand-dyed Fabrics, whose products we carry in our store.

When dyeing with natural dyes such as madder, pomegranate, and logwood, the final product can be slightly different depending on the weather and mood of the day, even if the dyeing conditions are the same.

Another characteristic of plant dyeing is that the color changes with use. Nomura's desire to "create warm objects that breathe together with someone's life, and that even when the color fades, are engraved into their memory" is also embodied in this.

The dyeing is of course done with natural plant dyes. This is a light brown dyed with persimmon tannins. The texture of persimmon tannins, which naturally produce uneven coloring, and the crunchy, hard texture are its characteristics.

The more you use it, the softer the texture will become, and the more comfortable the fabric will feel against your skin. It's an item that you can enjoy as it changes over time.

It takes time to make this item because it is dyed with persimmon tannins, which are dyed in sunlight. If the item is out of stock, it may take about two months, but depending on the season, it may take longer. Thank you for your understanding.

Generally, production begins after an order is placed, and it takes about 3 to 4 weeks for delivery, depending on the current order situation. If you have any questions about the stock situation or arrival time, please feel free to contact us.

Production may be delayed due to the artist's circumstances (such as holding a solo exhibition or a period of concentrated orders). In that case, we will inform you of the delivery date again.

As these products are hand-dyed using natural materials, there may be slight differences in the finished product. We ask for your understanding that this is a characteristic of plant dyeing.

If you notice any stains or dirt, gently dab the item with a wet cloth to remove them. If you are still concerned about the stains, wash the item separately with water or lukewarm water. In that case, the texture may change. Please note.
