The brand name "ulazan" is a combination of the Malay/Indonesian word ulasan, which means criticism, revision, or review, and artisan, which means craftsman.

In the world of manufacturing, design, and craftsmen, the theory is that veterans play the leading role, while the younger generation acts as apprentices, trainees, and play supporting roles.
However, I realized that the more experience I gained, the more I was influenced by trends and information from other companies' brands, and that it was easy to lose sight of what I really wanted to create, and that my ideas were becoming narrow.

We felt that a product that would be unique would be created by having veterans solely supervise and having the younger generation, who have carefree ideas and will lead the next generation, take the lead.

Ulazan is a brand that creates products without barriers, created in a completely opposite way to conventional theories.

Ulazan's signature "alter" series is based on the theme of "fit through asymmetry" and features bags with carefully designed and functional designs.
