"RE.ACT LEATHER WORKS" is a brand created by designer Mitsutoshi Nakayama. The brand does not have a specific theme, but instead offers a wide range of products with free and natural designs that can be enjoyed with different moods and situations, focusing on leather items such as leather wallets, leather accessories, and bags.

After working in planning and sales at an apparel brand, Mitsutoshi Nakayama went independent and launched "RE.ACT LEATHER WORKS." The brand name "RE.ACT" means "to react to stimuli," and was chosen because he wanted to reflect the stimuli he has received from travel, vintage items such as used clothing, and culture in his manufacturing.

The "Re-ACT" series uses carefully selected materials from both Japan and overseas, such as Chromexcel leather from a long-established American company, artistic shoulder leather with a waxed silver surface from Italy, and domestic pigskin suede. In addition, at our domestic factory founded in 1974, we make use of the manufacturing methods, know-how, and craftsmanship spirit that we have accumulated since our founding to produce leather items that can be used for a long time.

The leather has been given a natural graining (shrink) treatment, giving it a moist texture with plenty of oil. The same leather can have a variety of unique expressions, such as "large grain," "small grain," or "almost no grain."

This artistic shoulder leather is manufactured by La Perla Azzurra in Italy and features a waxed silver surface.

It has a slightly soft texture due to the natural shrinkage and oil used, but the fibers are denser when pressed during the back-processing process, giving it a firm finish.

The wax on the surface of the leather gives it a whitish hue, expressing the material's theme of the "snowy mountains of Alaska." The more you use it, the more the wax penetrates into the leather, and the white wax melts away, revealing the natural color of the leather along with its luster.

Leather is vulnerable to rain and sweat, so if it gets wet, please allow it to dry naturally. If you continue to use it while it is wet, it may cause discoloration, color transfer, or mold. Remove the contents and dry it thoroughly in a well-ventilated place.

Any scratches caused by use can be made less noticeable by gently rubbing the product with your fingertips. As you use the product, the surface will become glossy and scratches will become less noticeable.
