Hand-dyed plain color, loop-knit, organic cotton, short-sleeved T-shirt, "Mir-iro" for women [OT-MIR-LADIES]

"Tezomeya" is a dyeing studio in Kyoto that pursues dyeing with natural dyes. They mainly produce T-shirts and other items dyed with traditional Japanese natural dyes such as madder, pomegranate, cornflower, and gallnut.

The main products, hand-dyed T-shirts, are all original, from the materials to the detailed designs, patterns and sewing processes.

The yarn used is "Fox Fiber," an organic cotton that is highly compatible with natural dyes. The fabric is specially made to order using a rare "hanging knitting machine" that can knit softly without applying tension to the yarn, creating a "hanging jersey" fabric that does not wear out easily even with long use.

This is a carefully hand-dyed T-shirt that is the result of careful research into the balance of all elements, such as the selection of materials that work well with natural dyes, the sewing, silhouette, and comfort.

It's a shame to call it khaki, as it is a deep, rich color called "miruiro." It has a deep, deep color that creates a calm atmosphere.

Miru is a type of seaweed, and the natural, rustic color of the material fits the image perfectly.

The dye, yamamomo, is made from the bark of the yamamomo tree. It has been used since ancient times as a medicine for burns because of its antiseptic properties.

The production speed of a hanging knitting machine is one-thirtieth of that of the machines that are mainstream today, but because it is possible to knit without applying tension to the thread, it is possible to create a unique fabric called "hanging jersey," which is very soft and does not wear out easily.

The yarn is made from American organic cotton called "Fox Fiber." Fox Fiber is hardly ever degreased or bleached, and contains a lot of "impurities" such as natural wax. However, when dyed with natural dyes, the more impurities there are in the cotton, the deeper and darker the dye will be.
