Shogado is a Kyoto-based Japanese stationery manufacturer that produces Japanese books such as goshuincho, pencil cases, and origami. While inheriting the traditional techniques of Kyo Yuzen, we offer a rich variety of Japanese stationery that recreates traditional patterns with modern color schemes and designs.

All of Shogado's Japanese stationery is produced domestically, using carefully hand-dyed Yuzen washi paper. The washi paper used as the material comes from Japanese paper-producing regions such as Echizen (Fukui Prefecture). Yuzen washi paper is brilliantly dyed by a Kyoto craftsman who has been involved with it since its founding in 1964, using multiple dye patterns and layering colors, giving it a texture, shine, and presence that cannot be expressed with regular printing. there is.

Shogado's Japanese stationery pursues designs that are widely inherited from Japan's aesthetic sense and are accepted not only in Japan but also overseas. With a wide range of colors, from muted to bright colors, you're sure to find a design that suits you.
