Garage, a gauze clothing workshop in Kyoto, was started by a couple who love making things, love clothes, and love creating things from scratch with their own hands. Tatsuya and Yoko Nakanishi handle everything from design and pattern making to sewing and dyeing.
The gauze clothing from Garage, born from their passion to "do as much as we can with our own hands," will make you feel gentle and calm when you wear it.

The gauze material expresses a border pattern, creating a unique look.

This is the women's version of the double gauze border cardigan for men [JK-14]!
The rounded shoulder lines and hem give this cardigan a soft, feminine touch.

It pairs perfectly with simple tops, can be accessorized with necklaces, and is great for layering.

Double gauze is an excellent fabric that can be worn all year round due to its moderate breathability and heat retention. It has been used for baby clothes for a long time and is one of the softest fabrics to the touch.

A distinctive feature of Garage's gauze clothing is that this double gauze fabric is cut on the bias (diagonally).
While cutting on the bias is not efficient for fabric usage, it creates excellent vertical and horizontal elasticity, allowing the garment to gradually conform to the wearer's body shape over time. It is even said to be "healing" clothing.
