Garage, a Kyoto-based gauze clothing workshop, started with a love for crafting, fashion, and creating things from scratch. Husband and wife duo Tatsuya and Yoko Nakanishi handle everything from design, patterns, and sewing to dyeing.
Their gauze clothing, infused with the philosophy of "doing as much as possible with our own hands," gently brings peace of mind to those who wear it.

≪Charcoal Gray≫

The fabric is light and soft, suitable for spring and summer, with a slim appearance. Made with double gauze, it offers a secure and comfortable fit.

A key feature is the pintuck stitching on the back. This unique design, characteristic of Garage, is certainly eye-catching.

Double gauze is an excellent fabric that can be worn all year round, thanks to its moderate breathability and heat retention. It has been used for baby clothes for a long time and is one of the softest fabrics on the skin.

Garage's gauze clothing is characterized by its use of double gauze fabric cut on the bias (diagonally).
While bias-cutting is not fabric-efficient, it creates excellent stretch both vertically and horizontally, allowing the clothing to gradually conform to the wearer's body shape over time. It is sometimes referred to as "healing" clothing.
