Garage, a gauze clothing workshop in Kyoto, started because its founders loved making things, loved clothes, and loved creating things from scratch with their own hands. Tatsuya and Yoko Nakanishi, the husband-and-wife team behind Garage, handle everything from design and pattern making to sewing and dyeing.
Garage's gauze clothing, born from their passion to "do as much as we can with our own hands," makes wearers feel gentle and calm.
Now, a fluffy gauze shirt has arrived that can be used not only for daily wear or in the city, but also for exercise time when you want to move your body freely and comfortably!

It's recommended for those who want to wear their favorite clothes even when exercising, or for those who are active in their daily lives and have jobs that require a lot of movement.
| Increased Stretch! Double Gauze Cut on the Bias |
Double gauze is an excellent fabric with moderate breathability and heat retention, making it suitable for year-round wear. It has long been used for baby clothes and is one of the softest fabrics against the skin.
A distinguishing feature of Garage's gauze clothes is that they use double gauze fabric cut on the bias (diagonally).
While cutting on the bias is not efficient in terms of fabric usage, it creates excellent stretch both vertically and horizontally, allowing the garment to gradually conform to the wearer's body shape over time. These clothes are sometimes even referred to as "comfort-oriented."
