Garage, a gauze clothing workshop in Kyoto, started because its founders loved making things, loved clothes, and loved creating things from scratch with their own hands. Tatsuya and Yoko Nakanishi handle everything from design and pattern making to sewing and dyeing.

The fluttering original stripe pattern from Garage is stylish, like a pintuck design. It's a simple silhouette dress, but the subtle, unique pattern gives it a strong presence that draws you in.

Double gauze is an excellent fabric that can be worn all year round, offering appropriate breathability and heat retention. It is one of the softest fabrics to the touch, having been used for baby clothes since ancient times.

A distinctive feature of Garage's gauze clothing is that this double gauze fabric is cut on the bias.
While cutting on the bias is not efficient in terms of fabric usage, it creates excellent stretch both vertically and horizontally, allowing the garment to gradually fit the wearer's body over time. It is sometimes referred to as "healing" clothing.
