At Kobo Oriza's old-fashioned weaving machines have become an innovation that spins and produces comfortable fashion products that are enjoyed by people of all ages and genders.

Items made using traditional techniques are becoming more and more familiar with modern fashion. Just as threads intertwine, people and traditions intertwine... The products produced by Kobo Oriza seem to be a bridge connecting the past and the present.

It is characterized by a bold gradation created by the way the weft thread is woven using two different colors.

At first glance, it may seem like a rough and delicate fabric.
But don't worry. This fabric is made using a technique called "mojiri weaving," which means that the warp threads are tightly weaved together to tightly bind the weft threads, making it a strong weave that is less likely to become distorted even with a coarse weave.

This results in a finish that is both delicate in appearance and durable, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful twill pattern for a long time without it falling apart.
