"TSUKIKUSA" is a brand created by leather artist Kanji Toyoda in Takatsuki City, Osaka Prefecture. He creates leather wallets and leather products with simple designs that can be used for a long time, that are comfortable for the user, and that become more of a part of the user the more they are used.

The brand name "TSUKIKUSA" comes from the traditional Japanese color "moonflower color" expressed by indigo dyeing. Of the leathers used in "TSUKIKUSA" products, Toyoda was most fascinated by the unique pale blue leather. The color is closer to the traditional color "moonflower color," and the brand name is based on the pure color.

By giving the brand a Japanese name, we also hope to be conscious of the spirit of manufacturing that has been passed down in Japan.

We use genuine cowhide (tanned with oil-based tannins) produced in Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture, one of Japan's leading leather production areas.
This leather has been carefully tanned with tannins and then thoroughly infused with oil, so it has a slightly stiff texture when you first use it, but it becomes softer and develops a natural luster the more you use it.

The process of the leather gradually changing appearance as it becomes familiar in the wearer's hand is truly like "nurturing leather."

When new, the leather is stiff and it may feel a little tight to insert and remove cards, but this is a characteristic of natural leather. With continued use, the leather will become more flexible and will fit just right.

The charm of Himeji leather is that you can experience the leather growing with you through daily use.

There is also a card pocket inside the billfold that can hold one or two more cards. The pocket has a slit, so it is convenient for storing cards that you frequently take out and put back in.
There is also a multi-pocket between the lid and the main body.




It has a storage capacity of about 15 sheets.

When opened, there are three card pockets. The deep cuts make it easy to insert and remove cards.
* When the bag is new, the card pockets are tight. Putting things in the bag and using it a bit will allow the leather to become more flexible and the fit will become just right.

When using it as a coin purse, the inside of the lid acts as a coin tray, making it easy to check the contents. It can hold up to 30 coins (100 yen coins), but putting in too many will make it difficult to take them out, so it is best to use it with about 15 coins.

This pocket alone can hold seven cards, each the thickness of a credit card.
*If you use the multi-pocket as a card holder, you can store approximately 10 to 11 cards in total.

Even if dyed with the same dye, there will be individual differences in color. Please understand and acknowledge that this is a characteristic of natural leather and the individuality of each piece.

Leather is vulnerable to rain and sweat, so if it gets wet, please allow it to dry naturally. If you use it while it is wet, it may cause discoloration, color transfer, or mold. Remove the contents and dry it thoroughly in a well-ventilated place. Once it dries, the oils in the leather will also be removed, so after drying, apply a thin layer of colorless oil such as mink oil.
