Gauze Clothes Studio Garage: Women's 4-Layer Gauze Square Trainer [TS-62]

Garage, a gauze clothing workshop in Kyoto, started because its founders loved making things, loved clothes, and loved creating things from scratch with their own hands. The husband and wife team, Tatsuya and Yoko Nakanishi, handle everything from design and pattern making to sewing and dyeing.
The gauze clothing from Garage, born from their desire to "do as much as possible with our own hands," will make the wearer feel gentle and relaxed.

This design features gauze cut into squares and joined together like a puzzle with coverstitching!

The raw-cut edges of the gauze (the fringed parts) add a nice touch.
What's more, this double gauze is layered with two more layers, making it a luxurious total of four layers of gauze fabric.
With four layers, the fabric feels substantial and is surprisingly warm, sure to be a great help even in winter! The soft gauze fabric is, of course, incredibly comfortable to wear.

The material has a lovely texture, so it looks great worn simply on its own. You can also make the most of the simple design by adding accessories like a necklace, and it's also perfect for layering.

Double gauze is an excellent fabric with good breathability and heat retention, making it suitable for all seasons. It has long been used for baby clothes and is one of the softest fabrics against the skin.

A distinctive feature of Garage's gauze clothing is that this double gauze fabric is cut on the bias (diagonally).
While cutting on the bias is not efficient in terms of fabric usage, it creates excellent stretch both horizontally and vertically, allowing the garment to gradually conform to the wearer's body shape over time. It is sometimes referred to as "healing clothing."

Each square section stretches, allowing for a comfortable fit.
As you can see from the fabric at the hem, the four-layer gauze has a substantial feel.

Try pairing it simply with denim or chinos for the bottoms!
We also recommend coordinating it with natural materials that complement gauze, such as linen bottoms or naturally dyed stoles!

You can choose from a wide range of colors. It's also fun to select colors according to the season, like pastels in spring and earth tones in autumn!
