"Ena Kuam" was born from the Chinese character "AMANEKU".

"Henku" means "widely," and the brand name embodies our desire to create bags that can be reached by many people, and to widely communicate the passion we put into making these bags and the hidden stories they hold.

They want to make cute bags that are fair trade, and also want to contribute a little to the world and help women become independent. Based on this concept, they are creating original products with women in Nepal.

A felt tote bag with a fluffy, warm wool feel that tickles the hearts of young girls.

This is made by mixing four colors of felt into a marble pattern.
You can feel the warmth in the unique finish that can only be achieved through handcrafting, not machine work.

Grass and other debris are carefully removed from the shorn sheep's wool, which is then mixed with soap and water and kneaded by hand many times until it is shaped into a bag, without the use of sewing techniques.

By kneading the wool for a longer period of time and more times, we are able to give the fabric a firm thickness and durability.
Additionally, the natural oils in wool repel water, making it less susceptible to stains.

With an open pocket inside (approx. 11 x 16 cm)

The handles are attached using only wool, without the use of a sewing machine.
The threads will not break or fray.

1. Sheep wool <br>We use the wool shorn from sheep as is. It has a simple and gentle texture.
(*The colored parts are dyed.)

2. No sewing. Because we don't use sewing machines, we don't need electricity. All the bags are connected with wool.
By being integrated, the threads will not break or fray.

3. Safe shearing What is safe for sheep? Shearing is done in a variety of ways around the world.
This can sometimes pose a threat to the safety of the sheep...
Ena Kuam uses non-mulesed Moroccan wool.

4. It's full of love!
These bags are made in a rural area in a slightly poor country somewhere in the world.
Although the language and culture are different, what is at the root of it all is "love."

Please note that as it is vulnerable to rain and sweat, if it gets wet it may smell like raw wool, shrink, fade or stain. If it does get wet, we recommend wiping it off quickly with a dry cloth and storing it in a well-ventilated place.

If you will not be using the product for a while after the season is over, store it in a place with as little humidity as possible, along with an insect repellent .
