"RE.ACT LEATHER WORKS" is a brand created by designer Mitsutoshi Nakayama. The brand does not have a specific theme, but instead offers a wide range of products with free and natural designs that can be enjoyed with different moods and situations, focusing on leather items such as leather wallets, leather accessories, and bags.

After working in planning and sales at an apparel brand, Mitsutoshi Nakayama went independent and launched "RE.ACT LEATHER WORKS." The brand name "RE.ACT" means "to react to stimuli," and was chosen because he wanted to reflect the stimuli he has received from travel, vintage items such as used clothing, and culture in his manufacturing.

The "Re-ACT" series uses carefully selected materials from both Japan and overseas, such as Chromexcel leather from a long-established American company, artistic shoulder leather with a waxed silver surface from Italy, and domestic pigskin suede. In addition, at our domestic factory founded in 1974, we make use of the manufacturing methods, know-how, and craftsmanship spirit that we have accumulated since our founding to produce leather items that can be used for a long time.

When you first use it, it has a matte texture with no shine, but the more you use it, the more glossy it becomes and the more tasteful the color becomes.

Regarding the aging of Texas Leather, it is vegetable tanned and dyed, so the more you use it, the more the color will develop a richer flavor and the more the leather will develop the luster that is characteristic of buffed (sanded) leather.

"Texas Leather", manufactured by Tempesti in the Tuscany region of Italy, is made from the luxurious center part of the bend (buttocks) of cowhide, which has the highest fiber density and strength among all raw cowhide parts.

This is nubuck leather that has a fuzzy surface created by lightly rubbing the surface with a rough surface such as a sandpaper (buffing).
As you use it, the fur will become flatter, so it will reflect more light than before and will have a subtle shine.

Although it has a smooth, matte surface, the buffing process gives it a unique, soft feel.

The soft feel and exquisite color and texture, which are due to the high oil content, are reminiscent of vintage leather and have captivated many leather lovers.

Leather is vulnerable to rain and sweat, so if it gets wet, please allow it to dry naturally. If you use it while it is wet, it may cause discoloration, color transfer, or mold. Remove the contents and dry it thoroughly in a well-ventilated place. Once it dries, the oils in the leather will also be removed, so after drying, apply a thin layer of colorless oil such as mink oil.

Texas Leather products do not undergo excessive dyeing or color fixing in order to maximize the natural texture of the material, and changes such as discoloration may occur due to exposure to water or friction. Please understand that the uneven grain, wrinkles, and shading inherent to leather are proof that it is a natural material.
