"SAIFUKU" is the brand of Saifuku, a knitwear manufacturer based in Gosen City, Niigata Prefecture, which has been producing products exclusively since 1963. Blessed with abundant, high-quality water, Gosen City has flourished as a silk textile production center since the mid-Edo period, and after the war developed into a major center for the knitwear industry. Using the company name as a brand, the company continues to hone its knitwear techniques and ideas, along with the know-how that has been passed down in the production area.

The "226" (Tsutsumu) series is based on the concept of "wrapping people and their lives in knitwear to make everyday life comfortable and humorous," and is a series that uses knitwear to wrap not only the body but also everyday items in a fun way.
