Garage is a gauze clothing studio in Kyoto that started because its founders love crafting, love clothes, and love creating things from scratch with their own hands. Tatsuya Nakanishi and his wife Yoko handle everything from design and pattern making to sewing and dyeing.
The couple's passion for craftsmanship is evident in Garage's gauze garments, which are designed to "do as much as possible with our own hands." These garments envelop the wearer in a gentle and peaceful feeling.

The large hood creates a casual look. When worn, the silhouette drapes loosely and softly. Its gentle lines are perfect for an adult natural and relaxed style!

This item is unisex. While designed for men, size S is equivalent to women's size M. It can be worn by couples or married pairs!

Double gauze is an excellent fabric with moderate breathability and heat retention, making it suitable for all seasons. It has long been used for baby clothes and is one of the softest fabrics against the skin.

A distinctive feature of Garage's gauze clothing is that the double gauze fabric is cut on the bias (diagonally).
While cutting on the bias is not efficient in terms of fabric usage, it creates excellent elasticity both vertically and horizontally, allowing the garment to gradually fit the wearer's body over time. It is even sometimes referred to as "healing" clothing.

The wooden buttons add a more natural feel. The stitching for them is red! It gives a spicy impression that's more than just natural. The distinctive buttonholes are wrapped with raw-edge fabric. The two large pockets also feature a fringed, raw-edge look. The gently curved hem and large hood create a relaxed and sophisticated feel.
