Garage, a Kyoto-based gauze clothing workshop, started because they "love creating things, love clothes, and love making things from scratch with their own hands." Husband and wife duo Tatsuya and Yoko Nakanishi handle everything from design, pattern making, sewing, and dyeing.

One of the features of Garage's clothing is the bias cut (diagonal cut) of the double gauze fabric. Normally, fabric for clothing is cut along the warp and weft, but a bias cut creates elasticity in both directions. This allows them to fully utilize the characteristics and texture of double gauze within a simple design.

Garage's gauze clothing, born from their passion for manufacturing and their belief in "doing as much as possible with our own hands," brings a gentle and peaceful feeling to those who wear it.

This is a simple camisole made from two layers of double gauze.

Double gauze is an excellent fabric with moderate breathability and heat retention, making it suitable for all seasons. It has long been used for baby clothes and is one of the softest fabrics to the touch.
