Garage, a gauze clothing workshop in Kyoto, started with the idea of people who love making things, love clothes, and love creating things from scratch with their own hands. Mr. Tatsuya Nakanishi and his wife, Yoko, handle everything from design and pattern making to sewing and dyeing.

Garage's gauze clothing, overflowing with the desire to "do as much as possible with our own hands," gently and calmly makes the wearer feel good.

This is an original garage-designed T-shirt with fluffy gauze tape on the chest.
The natural wrinkled look, like freshly washed fabric, is also a unique garage touch that creates a relaxed feeling.

While maintaining a simple yet unpretentious style, the gentle texture of gauze and a touch of loveliness combine to create an item with a wonderful aura.

Made from 100% natural cotton gauze fabric, it offers excellent absorbency and lightness. The pleasant feel against the skin and its increasing softness with each wash are also appealing qualities.

At Garage, a lot of fabric scraps are generated because we luxuriously use bias cuts.
To avoid wasting these scraps, they are used for designs around the neck and as ruffles.

Enhanced elasticity! About bias-cut gauze

Gauze is an excellent fabric with moderate breathability and heat retention, making it suitable for all seasons. It has been used for baby clothes since ancient times, making it one of the softest fabrics against the skin.

A distinctive feature of Garage's gauze clothing is that it uses bias-cut (diagonally cut) single gauze fabric.

While bias cutting is not very efficient in terms of fabric usage, it creates excellent elasticity in both vertical and horizontal directions, allowing the garment to gradually conform to the wearer's body shape over time.

This product is generally made to order, and depending on the order status, it may take approximately 3 weeks to 2 months. (If it takes longer than that, we will inform you of the new delivery date separately.)

Garage's gauze clothing is product-dyed (dyed after sewing) piece by piece. Therefore, the dye color may vary slightly for individual products.

Additionally, the actual product color may differ slightly from what is shown on your computer monitor due to display type and environmental settings. We appreciate your understanding.
