Hitomi Sasaki studied oil painting at university, and later travelled to the UK and Belgium to learn accessory design and production techniques. Her accessories, which feature motifs of nature such as plants, animals and insects, are not just cute, but also have a sense of a story that nature tells, such as its "mystery", "voice" and "loveliness", and you will be entranced and captivated. Natural animals and plants are transformed into charming accessories, endowed with a sense of realism that makes them seem as if they could come to life at any moment, and by Sasaki's hands, transformed into one-of-a-kind stories...
