"SAIFUKU" is a brand based on the concept of "snow country knit," creating knit items inspired by the nature and lifestyle of snowy Niigata. Taking the beauty of Niigata's nature as the starting point for its designs, the brand gives shape to wisdom born from living in a harsh, snowy climate.

SAIFUKU is crafted by Saifuku, a dedicated knitwear manufacturer in Gosen City, Niigata, which has been honing its craft since 1963. Blessed with abundant, high-quality water, Gosen City has thrived as a hub for silk textiles since the mid-Edo period and developed into a major cluster for the knitting industry after the war. By elevating their company name as the brand, they continue to refine their knitting techniques and ideas alongside the know-how passed down through the region.

The "226" (Tsutsumu) series, based on the concept of "wrapping people and their lives in knits for a comfortable and humorous daily life," features items designed to playfully wrap not only the body but also the things we use in our daily lives.

The collection includes knit items that shine with creative ingenuity, such as "Show-off Haramaki" (belly warmers) that allow you to enjoy layering styles, spray covers that stylishly wrap up everyday spray bottles, wrist warmers that can be peeked from cuffs for a splash of color, and knit detachable collars that warmly wrap around the neck.

The Aran pattern has its roots in traditional Irish fisherman sweaters, with the diamond pattern symbolizing "wealth" and "success," the cable pattern representing "bonds" and "strength," and the honeycomb pattern standing for "diligence" and "good luck." The interplay of light and shadow created by the texture of these patterns gives the piece a warm, expressive look.
