"SUIFUTOSHA" is a towel creation project by the weaving workshop Kobo Oriza and Imabari towel artisans in Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture, a cotton textile production area.

White and light-colored items may transfer color from other laundry. Do not wash with dark-colored items. We recommend using non-fluorescent detergent to prevent discoloration. Since chlorine in tap water may cause color changes, rinse in a short time.

We recommend rinsing items individually before first use. This helps prevent pile shedding and removes loose fibers.

To prevent shedding and pile pulling, we recommend using a laundry net. Do not wash with items that can easily catch on the fabric.

Using fabric softener during washing can increase pile pulling and shedding, and inhibit absorbency. We recommend using an appropriate amount only when the fabric has become stiff.

After washing and drying, the fabric may shrink slightly due to its nature. To prevent significant deformation, shrinkage, or increased lint, avoid tumble drying. Reshape and air dry in the shade in a well-ventilated area.
