Masaaki Watanabe of Watanabe Studio is a watchmaker who handcrafts each watch one by one in his studio in downtown Tokyo. He has created many watch pieces with a deep, handmade charm and warmth.
Mr. Watanabe handcrafts everything from the production of watch parts such as cases, dials, and straps to their assembly. His works range from simple designs that can be used for both casual and business occasions to unique models with ingenious craftsmanship. The watches, created through a very time-consuming process, offer a warmth and comfort not found in mass-produced items.
The case materials include brass and silver, which develop an enjoyable patina over time. The leather straps are made of genuine leather, which is thick yet fits comfortably, combining quality and presence. These watches are filled with a warmth that grows on you over time.

A model combining the appeal of a full-skeleton mechanical movement with an antique aesthetic.
The characters use large Chinese numerals, giving it a sophisticated Japanese atmosphere.
From the popular "Yamato no Koku" Japanese watch series by Watanabe Kobo, an automatic movement has arrived that allows you to enjoy the unique charm of a mechanical watch, where the mainspring is automatically wound by the movement of your arm.
The dial is angled, with the 12 o'clock position where the 2 o'clock position would normally be. This has the advantage of making the watch easier to read in a natural position without having to significantly bend your wrist.
You can enjoy the passage of time while appreciating the rich texture of the brass.

As this is a build-to-order product, delivery will take approximately 3 weeks to 1 month. Please be aware of this in advance.
Production tends to take longer during gift seasons such as Christmas, Valentine's Day, and White Day. If you are planning this as a gift, we kindly ask you to consider the delivery time before placing your order.
Since it is not waterproof, please be careful when using it on rainy days or around water.
The warranty period is one year from the date of purchase. However, only internal malfunctions are covered by the warranty; exterior parts such as the case and strap are not covered.
