graphzero is a denim brand by artisans from Kurashiki Kojima, known as one of Japan's leading denim production towns.

Based on the workwear of US Navy construction engineers from the 1940s, graphzero created an original design.

"Seabees" is the nickname for the United States Navy Construction Battalions (C.B.s). It comes from their hardworking nature, like bees, and means "bees of the sea."

Originally, it was cold-weather workwear with a wool lining, but we finished it with light ounce denim so it can be worn all year round.

The fabric is a light 10oz denim with a camouflage pattern applied by pigment printing. Based on the French army's camouflage pattern, it features an original red-based color scheme from graphzero.

Denim fabric has a characteristic unevenness (slub yarn weave), but during wear and washing, the pigment on the raised parts of the fabric will rub and peel off more strongly, gradually causing the texture of the denim to emerge as it ages.

While retaining the vintage atmosphere of the time, it has been elevated into a piece that can be enjoyed as modern daily wear.
