The hair accessory brand "Futatsuki" is created by accessory designer Hitomi Sasaki and fellow designer Yoshimasa Kato. The brand name was chosen because Sasaki and Kato were both born in February.

Hitomi Sasaki has developed a jewelry brand called "sasakihitomi" that sells accessories that are popular among many women. Her unique and cute items, which make use of her drawing skills and design sense, capture the hearts of women.

During her student days, Sasaki worked part-time at a women's wig company, where she was impressed by the realization that "a woman's beauty can change so much through her hair." From that time on, she began to want to try making her own hair accessories. As she gained experience and studied as an accessory maker, she met fellow accessory maker Kato, and in February 2016, the brand "Futatsuki" was born.

The motifs of the work are animals and plants, which Sasaki is good at. Kato's design, who is good at simple motifs, was added to it, and the hair accessories with a cutely deformed taste of plants and fish were born.

The items are all flat and easy to use as hair clips and barrettes. And yet they have a strong presence thanks to their bold silhouettes and cute, stylish designs. Rather than simply picking them up as hair clips, you'll feel a sense of affection and wonder, "Which one should I wear today?", because they are filled with the couple's thoughts.
