Items created using age-old techniques fit seamlessly into modern fashion. Just as thread interweaves with thread, people interweave with tradition... The products created by Kobo Oriza seem to serve as a bridge connecting the present to the past.

The product name "NECKABLE" is a portmanteau of "neck" and the Japanese word "kaburu" (to put on or wear over the head).

The appeal of the long type lies in its versatility—you can wrap it around your neck or change how you fold it. The six color and pattern sections peek out differently depending on how you wear it, allowing you to enjoy a variety of looks to suit your outfit or mood for the day.

It is crafted using a technique called "multi-layered twill weaving," where a knotting point is created in the twill structure to weave two or more layers of fabric simultaneously into a single piece. Compared to single-layer twill, it has a pleasant volume, is soft, and features excellent breathability.

With six colors and patterns connected into one, the impression changes each time you wrap it. It serves as an accent for simple outfits, brilliantly coloring your neck for the autumn and winter seasons.

Each piece is meticulously crafted using "Toyota Y-type looms" and "Tsudakoma looms," which are 100-year-old shuttle looms that Kobo Oriza has uniquely modified. We weave together thin and thick yarns that differ in color, thickness, and treatment to create a single tubular piece of fabric.
Because all steps are finished through the weaving process itself, it is completely seamless. It offers a gentle wrap that feels like it embraces your skin.
