One of Dady's charms is its unique vintage leather look. Rare leather that has been tanned with the maximum amount of tannin is placed in a taiko (a large wooden barrel used when dyeing leather) and left blank for over 10 hours to bring out the rich texture of the leather.

This leather belt uses Horween's aniline chromexcel leather, which is said to be known by everyone in the leather industry.

Horween is a long-established company founded in Chicago in 1905 and has a history of over 100 years. Including cordovan, we deal with leather used by many brands. One of the company's famous leathers is the "Chrome Excel" oil leather used this time.

Chromexcel is made by a "mixed tanning" that combines tanning and chrome tanning. The leather is finished with two characteristics: tannin tanning, which increases its luster and taste as it is used, and chrome tanning, which is flexible, stretchy and durable.

After tanning, a special oil made by blending multiple types of oils such as beef tallow and fish tallow is carefully applied over several times longer than usual to create a texture that you can tell just by looking at it. .
