ANNAK is an original leather brand launched by the long-established factory Mitake Sangyo in Motoasakusa, Tokyo, an area packed with small factories producing leather goods and metal processing.

Mitake Sangyo was founded in 1925 and initially produced tobacco pipes, but after the war, in response to changing lifestyles, they shifted to producing leather belts and other items. In 2000, they launched the "Kanna" brand, and in 2004 changed the brand name to "ANNAK", which is the reading of "KANNA" backwards.

We are particular about handwork, hand sewing, hand dyeing, and hand polishing, and we create our products one step at a time, by hand. We achieve a warmth and quality that cannot be achieved with mass-produced products.

We offer leather items with a unique presence, which are finished with ANNAK's original washing process. These leather items also incorporate a trendy feel and can be matched with a wide range of styles.

All parts are made using ANNAK's original leather.
This original leather was developed using tanned leather from Tochigi Leather, one of Japan's leading tanneries. It overcomes the usual disadvantage of leather becoming hard when wet, and has a texture that feels comfortable in the hand.

They are polished by hand by craftsmen in one go, giving each piece a unique look with varying shades of color.
