graphzero, a denim brand from Kurashiki-Kojima, a town known as Japan's premier jeans production area, offers this 15oz selvedge denim, packed with their unique commitment to quality.

It uses "kibata denim" woven on vintage power looms.

Because it has not been sanforized, skewed, or singed, you can enjoy the stiff, rough, and fuzzy texture characteristic of vintage denim.

For the warp, randomly chosen threads hank-dyed with two different indigo shades are used.

The weft is made of natural undyed yarn, and both warp and weft use slub yarns, resulting in a coarse, hand-woven texture.

Hank dyeing is a dyeing method where yarn is formed into circular bundles (hanks) and slowly steeped in dye. Compared to rope dyeing, where the core of the yarn remains white, hank dyeing allows the dye to penetrate deeper into the yarn, resulting in a rich, natural indigo color.
As it is worn and washed, instead of fading with stark contrasts, the deep indigo gradually transforms into a soft blue.

The more it's used, the more its texture improves, and the gradual change as it develops its own unique color is also appealing.

The design is a unique graphzero tailoring, incorporating the rare "T-back" specification from the 1st model into a 2nd type.
The thickness of the thread and the tension during sewing are meticulously adjusted for each part, and it is sewn with great care.

Details such as the natural leather patch, original iron buttons, and red selvedge tab add to its charm.

The silhouette is slightly slim. While it can be worn neatly, we recommend sizing up if you prefer a more relaxed fit.
