"SUIFUTOSHA" is a towel creation project by Oriza Textile Studio and Imabari towel artisans in Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture, a region known for its cotton textile production.

The name "SUIFUTOSHA" embodies three ideas: "People who live with water," "Fabrics that live with water," and "Fabrics that thrive with people."
In Imabari, blessed with high-quality soft water, we pursue the possibilities of materials and weaving while cherishing the inherited skilled techniques and the artisans' sensibility. By adjusting the delicate balance of thread quality, thickness, weaving density, and pile length, we create soft textures and beautiful expressions.

SUIFUTOSHA's "MARUGOTO TOWEL" (All-Purpose Towel) is a long towel designed to be "all you need" for various situations in your daily life.

Equipped with UV protection, water absorption, and quick-drying properties, this towel is perfect for outdoor activities such as walking, gardening, traveling, and visiting saunas.

It's a long towel, approximately 110cm, longer than a standard face towel. It's easy to wrap around your neck or head, and it won't easily slip off your shoulders. Weighing about 60g, it's light and not bulky in your bag, so you can carry it casually for everyday outings and travels.

Available in 8 colors. There are refreshing blues, greens and yellows that add a pop of color to your outfit, gentle pinks, and navies and blacks that are easy for men to use. White and light-colored items may transfer color from other laundry. Do not wash with dark-colored items. We recommend using non-fluorescent detergent as it may cause discoloration.

Do not use bleach.

After washing and drying, the fabric may shrink slightly due to its nature. To prevent significant deformation, shrinkage, or linting, avoid tumble drying. We recommend reshaping and line drying in the shade in a well-ventilated area.
