Based on the concept of "tradition and novelty, a fusion of contradictory concepts", he produces a wide variety of handcrafted watches.

In 1997, JHA (Japan Handcraft-Watch Association) was established to support artists' activities such as learning watchmaking techniques and supplying parts. Even now, while producing his own works, he is also working hard to nurture the next generation.
