One of the characteristics of DEDEGUMO watches is their emphasis on design. In addition to watches with a traditional Kyoto design, they also cooperate with outside creators through watch design contests to create unique watches that cannot be found in other brands.

Another feature of DEDEGUMO watches is the pursuit of reliable quality. The movements of the watches are made in Japan. While many handmade watches are not waterproof, these watches are waterproof (with some exceptions) and have an anti-corrosion coating. In addition, craftsmen with watch repair qualifications check the quality with a strict eye, and the watches are made to be used for a long time.

In recent years, we have been introducing digital technology and are continuing to challenge ourselves to create delicate designs that were previously impossible to achieve by hand. Since 2020, we have been using CAD (Computer-aided design) to design watch parts and 3D printers to create prototypes for casting. The final finishing is done by hand by craftsmen one by one.

A retro and appealing index

Small red goldfish and red Demekin goldfish swim around, and there are also exquisitely colored aquatic plants, all of which are realistically depicted.

This watch has a mysterious sense of depth, as if you were peering into a small goldfish bowl.

The case is about 1.0 cm thick, but this is an important thickness for realistically expressing the underwater scenery. By layering several lenses and liquid resin, it creates a sense of depth that makes it seem as if the aquatic plants and goldfish are floating in the water.

The coloring of the dial and the arrangement of the goldfish and leaves are all done by hand by craftsmen. Each one has a different expression, making it a one-of-a-kind finish. The hour, minute, and spiral second hands are very small, but the gold indexes are casually applied radially on the silver base, adding to the visibility.

It's a special watch that calms the soul every time you look at it. It gives you a little sense of healing every time you check the time.

The case is made of smoked brass, creating a tasteful antique look.

We utilize digital software to reflect this in the design of the dial and case. We also produce design parts for watches, create prototypes with 3D printers, and cast parts.

The watch uses a Japanese-made movement and is waterproof and coated with an anti-corrosion coating, ensuring long-lasting use.
