The fine diamond-patterned selvage jacquard fabric uses pre-dyed warp threads made from indigo rope dyeing.

The reason it appears to be a single color is because it is woven with only dark-colored threads, using indigo for the warp and black for the weft.

Conversely, white stripes use indigo for the warp threads, as before, but white threads for the weft threads.
