graphzero: a craftsman denim brand from Kurashiki, Kojima

The Kojima area of Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture, is the birthplace of Japanese-made jeans and one of the world's leading jeans production areas. 【graphzero】, established in the spring of 2004 in this region, is an up-and-coming denim brand attracting attention for its original jeans featuring hand-dyeing and fading processes that are not cost-effective for larger manufacturers.

From graphzero comes these paisley-woven denim culottes, whose expression deepens with wear.

The fabric used is approximately 7 oz. light-ounce denim.
Indigo rope-dyed denim yarn is used for the warp, and black yarn for the weft, creating a paisley pattern through jacquard weaving.

Because the weft is black, as the indigo yarn fades with wear, the paisley weave pattern gradually emerges. The ability to enjoy the aging process, much like with jeans, is a major appeal of these culottes.

They feature pleats both front and back, and elasticized waistbands on both sides. While easy to wear, the silhouette gently widens towards the hem, allowing for coordination with a wide range of footwear, from sneakers to boots.

Also, pay attention to the fabric's expression, which changes little by little with each wear and wash. This is a characteristic graphzero piece that offers the joy of "raising" your clothes.

An XL size has also been newly released, offering an even more relaxed fit.
