``mino'' is a poncho brand that was born in Gosen City, Niigata Prefecture, one of Japan's leading knit production areas, and was inspired by the ``mino'' used in winter in snowy countries.

"mino" is produced by Saifuku, who has been manufacturing products as a specialized knitwear manufacturer since 1963. Blessed with an abundance of high-quality water, Gosen City flourished as a silk textile production center from the mid-Edo period, and developed into a major center for the knitting industry after the war. We continue to refine our knit-making techniques and ideas, along with the know-how that has been passed down from generation to generation.

Linking sewing is a delicate and detailed process in which each stitch is inserted onto the needle one stitch at a time. This is done by hand by craftsmen.
